Modular Proccluseur

• An alternative to individual positioners.
• After an interception phase to stabilise the result obtained, awaiting eruption of the lateral sectors via the occlusion guiding strips.
• Used for containment purposes after multi-bracket treatment the appliance can be customized (bearing in mind the width of the arches, the variability of form and coronal axes). The rear strips release molar occlusion for physiological implementation.

THE 6 STAGES OF WEARING THE APPLIANCE IN YOUR MOUTH

1. Use the ruler to measure the distance of the distal faces from 12 to 22 and select the most appropriate size.
2. Plunge the modular proccluseur in water at 100 ° for 5 seconds turning it over 2 or 3 times with tweezers.
3. After 5 seconds take out the appliance using tweezers and rinse it in cold water for 1 or 2 seconds to bring down the surface temperature.
4. Place the appliance in the jaw and ask the patient to bite down to obtain indentations from 14 to 24 corresponding perfectly to the patient's crowns.
5. Ask the patient to swallow with the tongue flat to the palate to make an intra-buccal void and maintain this position for 20 seconds.
6. Check the result and if necessary start again to obtain the desired occlusion.

FROM 6 YEARS

• The modular Proccluseur is available in 8 different sizes adapted to the diameter of the front teeth.
• It is essential to wear it for 2 hours a day, split into ¼ hour or ½ hour sessions. Clench the teeth without chewing, count to 10 and release, in sets of 10 to 15.
• You must wear the modular Proccluseur every night. It's normal for the appliance to fall out frequently at the beginning (for approximately 4 weeks). YOU MUST PERSEVERE.
• In the morning the front teeth feel sensitive; this quickly disappears and is evidence that the Proccluseur is working on the incisor-canine unit.
• The modular Proccluseur should be cleaned in cold water with a toothbrush and toothpaste, before and after use. The recommendation is to soak it for 1 hour in mouthwash.
• Never boil the modular proccluseur.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
• Class III occlusion.
